Féach offers in person or online training for school staff who have a visually impaired pupil in their class or school.
The training is approx 90 mins in person – the bulk of the time would be a talk from and hopefully followed by a Q&A session from the staff (45 mins-1 hour)
Based on lived experiences of teachers, SNAs, parents and students it offers practical advice and adaptations.
Then we recommend the staff who would be working directly with the student, AEN, class teacher, the SNAs, stay for the Virtual Reality headset session – this is maybe 15-20 minutes long.
Suitable for Croke Park hours.
