Aoife Kearney

Chairperson

Aoife joined Feach in 2010, after the birth of her first child. Visually impaired from birth herself, 2 of Aoife’s 3 children are visually impaired. She has been chairperson since 2018.

Aoife has worked in the health service for over twenty years; starting as a frontline worker in disability services (Enable Ireland), a research officer (St John of God Brothers) and in child protection. She trained as a clinical psychologist and has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Trinity College Dublin. She has been working as a psychologist for 16 years. She has a passionate interest in disability rights and in positive psychology. Her doctoral thesis was on the positive impact of growing up with a physical health condition. She holds a Certificate in Higher Education on Working with People with Visual Impairments.

Michael Blighe

Michael Blighe is the Chief Risk Officer of Legal & General Investment Management (Europe). Michael has over 20 years technology and risk management experience in the financial services sector.

Michael is a member of the Board of Rare Diseases Ireland, a patient advocacy national alliance for voluntary groups representing people affected by or at risk of developing a rare disease, and was previously a Board member of Belvedere Youth Club.

Michael is the parent of a child with autism and a rare eye condition.

Dee Crowley

Dee has over 25+ years of experience delivering financial expertise across all business areas within the Banking and Financial Services industry. Having had a successful career with AIB, she is excited to bring her expertise to a new environment and continue adding value, Féach is delighted to be part of this new venture.

Trevor Boland

We are delighted to have Trevor Boland on the Board of Féach. Trevor Boland is an advocate for inclusion in Education and over his 20 years in Education he has worked with and for students on initiatives that include Assistive Technology, Accessibility and Universal Design for Learning. He is the AT Officer in Dublin City University and collaborates internally and externally on inclusion initiatives to enhance inclusion in Education.

Anne Marie Boland

Anne Marie is a mother of 4 children – 3 of which are VI with no known diagnosis despite intensive genetic testing in Ireland and Moorefield’s Hospital London. She has been an integral part of Féach for over 10 years, before joining the board.
Following completion of a degree in Accounting, she pursued the Accountancy Exams with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants . She was trained and worked in public practice for 20 years completing sole trader accounts, tax returns, Company accounts, Corporation Tax returns and Company office compliance.
For the past 10 years she has worked for a Construction company as their Financial accountant.
