Hi,
My son who is visually impaired and registered blind was refused SNA support when starting school this sept. It has since being reviewed and he has been given half a day, but SENO will not commit this to paper. Before he started school we got a report from health board done, educational phyce recommended SNA support as did visiting teacher, this was all totally disregared by SENO, she made the decision based on observing him for half an hour in class. While his vision is pretty bad, his mobility is good and he does get around well.
I was wondering has anyone else had a similar expeirence and what they did about it.
